Board Reimbursement Policy
The Louisiana Proprietary Schools Advisory Commission (Commission) serves as an advisory body to the La. Board of Regents. The Commission has no budget nor employees. Per R.S. 17:3140.2.C, "Members shall serve without compensation, but shall be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in attending meetings of the commission." Commission members' mileage expenses are reimbursed via self-generated revenues collected by the Proprietary Schools Section within the La. Board of Regents' budget.
