| Purpose/Function | The Blind Vendors Trust Fund Advisory Board within the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Office of Rehabilitation Services, shall be composed of nine members: the Director of the Office of Rehabilitation Services or his designee and eight members of the Louisiana Blind Vendors Elected Committee. The Board shall adopt rules for the orderly transaction of business and shall keep a record of its resolutions, transactions, findings, and determinations. A majority of the individuals appointed shall constitute a quorum. Members shall serve without compensation. The designee for LRS Director shall maintain accurate financial records in compliance with the law and shall make a full and complete report to the Board annually. The Board shall make recommendations to the agency for the promulgation of rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this Chapter. The Board shall monitor, evaluate, and review the development and quality of services and programs funded through the fund. |
