| Purpose/Function | Mission Statement: Partners in Wellness is a collaborative project promoting health with the emphasis on cancer screening. The project's goal is to reduce the incidence and mortality of advance stage cancer within a target population residing in rural and under served communities in Louisiana. This project will target screening for prostate, breast, cervical, and colorectual cancers. The Clinic will strive to: Provide access to quality cancer early detection services for age eligible individuals regardless of ability to pay. Minimize cost to the state by operating efficiently and cost effectively. Work cooperatively with other healthcare programs, providers and groups at the state and community levels. Every staff employee to provide patient by following HIPAA guidelines. |
