Purpose/Function | The Pet Overpopulation Advisory Council was established and created by R.S. 47: 463.60. The Council is charged with distributing funds raised for low-cost spay/neuter operations through the sale of Animal Friendly License Plates. Funds will be awarded through grants made to qualifying veterinarians, veterinarian clinics and non-profit humane societies. |

An Agenda will be posted by February 8th on this site and on the Governor's Boards and Commission's website.
