| Notes | The Coastal Louisiana Levee Consortium operates under the direction of the CPRA as an advisory commission. Quick Summary: • Act 387 of the 2014 Regular Session created the Coastal Louisiana Levee Consortium (CLLC) as a committee of the CPRA. It really did not have any meetings until 2017. • Chip Kline, when he became CPRA Chair wanted to restart the CLLC to address a couple of issues CPRA was dealing with. He named Dwayne Bourgeois chair of the CLLC at that time. The CLLC had a few meetings in 2020 and 2021. • The makeup of the CLLC membership made it nearly impossible to have a quorum at any meetings. It therefore became stagnant with the last official meeting taking place in December of 2021. • Reporting this concern, Dwayne Bourgeois' last communication about the CLLC was to Bren Haase when he was acting director of CPRA in December of 2023. However, Mr. Hasse left CPRA and no action has been taken on this by the CPRA under the current administration. |
