| Purpose/Function | The Board has developed the Rules of the Board, and a Condensed Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics which govern the LSBHI and all home inspectors within this State. These documents govern the LSBHI and its licensed inspectors, setting forth guidelines and criteria intended to maintain the highest of standards in the home inspection industry, and to ensure that consumers are provided an accurate and thorough home inspection. The LSBHI and its licensees also recognize that their primary objective is to protect the safety, health, property and welfare of the general public, and to promote the vigorous growth of the real estate industry in the State of Louisiana. |
