Louisiana State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds

Tourism Revival Program

Welcome to the application portal for the Louisiana Tourism Revival Program. In the 2021 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature, $60 million of the state's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding was allocated to the Louisiana Tourism Revival Program. This Program has been established to provide funding to local and regional tourist commissions for marketing and promoting Louisiana as a tourism destination for in-state and out-of-state travel activity.

Funding will be awarded in accordance with Section 9901 of ARPA which amended Title VI of the Social Security Act to add section 602, which establishes the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund. Section 602 (c)(1)(a) provides, in part, that funds may be used to provide aid to impacted industries, such as tourism, travel, and hospitality, in response to negative economic impacts resulting from the public health emergency.
