PORT OF COLUMBIA 
June 15, 2017 MINUTES
 
The meeting was held on June 15th @ the columbia business center.
The meeting was called to order by Darron McGuffee. 
The following where present: Darron McGuffee, Bruce Frazier, John Cooksey, 
neil martin, johnny martin (Terral) and Greg Richardson.

Minutes and financial statement for May were presented and discussed.  
John Cooksey made motion to accept the financial statements and the April
minutes, seconded by bruce frazier the motion passed.

Motion was made by bruce frazier to pay ORVA dues for 2017 of $200,
seconded by john cooksey the motion passed.

Motion was made by bruce frazier to renew lease of rock yard with
terral riverservices, second by john cooksey the motion passed.

Items discussed
	Greg Richardson had talked with 1776 entergy and they aggreed to 
pay the outstanding balance of $14000 for rent at the port.  Our agreement 
of this amount covered everything til feb 2017 in which they verbal told 
me they were leaving/selling however they did not fully abandon site until 
may 2017. 

	Discussed potential renter for vacant warehouses Terral said they 
would help with identification of potential tenant

	Columbia Eastside Water well project at the port.

	Neal Martin with Terral Riverservices presented the port Commission
with a lease which had been worked out between Terral and Greg Richardson.
The lease was a renewal which had minor modifications but basically leased 
the same porperty for a 5 year term from July 2017 for $8250 per year.

Motion to adjourn was made by john cooksey and seconded by bruce frazier 
the motion passed and meeting was adjourned.
