PORT OF COLUMBIA 
Jan 19 2017 MINUTES
 
The meeting was held on January 19 @ the columbia business center.
The meeting was called to order by Darron McGuffee. 
The following where present: Darron McGuffee, Bruce Frazier, 
charles Hearns, John Cooksey and Greg Richardson.

Minutes and financial statement for December were presented and discussed.  
Charles Hearns made motion to accept the financial statements and the December
minutes, seconded by John Cooksey the motion passed.

Items discussed
	Greg Richardson dicussed need to submit a name to the Police Jury 
        to replace Marshal Davis, Jr. After a list of names was discussed
	a Motion was made by charles hearns and seconded by 
	John Cooksey to submit Monty Adams Jr motion passed.  

  	Greg Richardson discussed ongoing projects and attempts at 
	identifying potential renters.  Bosch & Statham audit was discussed
	Status of EDA grant application for help with Railroad project.

Motion to adjourn was made by John Cooksey and seconded by charles hearns
the motion passed and meeting was adjourned.
