The KVC-15 is a rapid rate vehicular charger adapter for the desktop KSC-32 charger base, to adapt use of a Kenwood single pocket desk charger for vehicular use powered from a conventional 12V DC vehicle accessory socket or cigarette lighter socket.The KVC-15 is comprised of a steel mounting base & adjustable locking bracket to hold the charger, and a matching DC cable with a fused cigarette lighter plug. The KVC-15 is intended for under-dash, wall, or floor mounting, in a weather protected location in a vehicle, preferably in the cab or in an enclosed work or cargo space. This device is not intended for unprotected operation in wet locations.This unit is designed for 12V DC operation, only.

The KVC-23 has a rugged, heavy-duty vehicular charger cradle ideal for the demanding public safety and industrial sectors which require the charging of portables in the field during long shifts, in remote locations and during times of mass power outages. The KVC-23 Vehicular Charger includes an adjustable-angle steel bracket, D.C. power, ignition sense, and vehicular repeater control leads. The KVC-23V also has the option to accommodate the KNB-L3 or KNB-LS7 high capacity batteries.

The Man Down safety feature causes the radio enter emergency mode when the angle exceeds the alert angle (and optionally can include lack of accelleration motion) and if it is detected for a set amount of time.

The VK5000Z Keyloader kit facilitates secure encryption and authentication key generation, storage and programming capability for P25 subscriber radios from a hand-held device. It also supports communication with a Key Management Facility (KMF). Appropriate programming cables to match the target radio device are required for voice keys and authentication keyloading.
