The Louisiana Board of Architectural Examiners is responsible for safeguarding life, health, and property and to promote the public welfare, and insures that the practice of architecture in this state is reserved to those persons who have the proper qualifications and have been registered by the board. Service applies to: Any person or firm applying or offering to practice architecture in Louisiana under the provisions of the laws of Louisiana governing the registration and licensing of architects. Required Documentation: All candidates initially applying for the exam are required to furnish the State Board Office a complete and approved IDP record (Green Cover) from NCARB.
