| Notes | 2023/24 - The budget will continue to include a 4% pay increase for all employees according to their performance and score achieved on their annual PPR. The Bossier Levee District will be doing drainage work on ditches, channel clearing, levee surfacing, and spraying as always, including a few other specific projects as well. Some projects that were completed are: Crowing Lane Drainage Improvement Project and Improvements to Red Chute Levee. The BLD is working with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources Division and the CORPS on two projects including the Red River Navigational Study. The Bossier Levee District strives to work towards improvements being made to the Red River along with the CORP's assistance. Like all entities we work towards providing a great and safe workplace and monitor the continued but way less severe extended Covid situation as it still seems to slighlty impact a few tasks on a routine basis. |
