State Offices Closing at Noon in Two Parishes Tuesday, August 29

BATON ROUGE: Due to extreme weather possible as Tropical Storm Harvey impacts Louisiana, Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne is announcing that state offices will close effective noon Tuesday, Aug. 29, in LAFOURCHE and TERREBONNE parishes. Additionally, state offices remain closed in ACADIA, ALLEN, BEAUREGARD, CALCASIEU, CAMERON, EVANGELINE, IBERIA, JEFFERSON DAVIS, LAFAYETTE, ORLEANS, ST. LANDRY, ST. MARTIN, ST. MARY, VERMILION and VERNON parishes.

State officials continue to monitor conditions throughout the state, and this announcement may be updated.
