New Statewide Outreach Events Scheduled for Flooded Homeowners

For Release On:

July 07, 2017

BATON ROUGE: The Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program will host a series of statewide outreach events beginning July 11 to help flood-impacted families complete the initial homeowner survey and to assist those homeowners who have been invited to complete a program application.

Program representatives will be available to answer questions, provide information and work directly with homeowners on a first-come, first-served basis. Completing the survey is the first step in requesting help through the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program.

Last week, more than 450 homeowners participated in program-sponsored meetings in Livingston, East Baton Rouge, and Ascension Parishes.

All flood?impacted homeowners are strongly encouraged to complete the survey, even if they do not believe they will qualify for assistance. Additional homeowners may qualify as more funding becomes available.

Events are scheduled as follows:

July 11, 3-7 p.m.

Caddo Parish – Shreve Memorial Library Atkins Branch

3704 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, La. 71109

July 12, 3-7 p.m.

Ouachita Parish – Richwood Multi-Purpose Building

2710 Martin Luther King Drive, Richwood, La. 71202

July 19, 3-7 p.m.

Outreach events are also planned for Abbeville, Bogalusa, Jennings, Alexandria, Denham Springs, Gonzales, and Baker. Dates and locations will be announced soon.
